Unverified projects are capped at 100 pages per scan with reduced features. Verifying ownership unlocks your full plan quota, scheduled runs, continuous monitoring, real-time alerts, and priority support.
Three verification methods
Open Project Settings > Domain Verification. DNS Record is the recommended default. HTML file and meta tag are alternatives.
Verify by DNS (recommended)
Copy the TXT record value Jakka shows you. It looks like jakka-verification-<hash>.
Add a TXT record at your DNS provider with host @ and the value you copied.
Wait 15 to 30 minutes for DNS propagation.
Return to Domain Verification and click Check DNS Record.
Verify by HTML file
Download the verification file Jakka provides and upload it to the root of your site. Click Check to confirm.
Verify by meta tag
Copy the meta tag and paste it into the <head> of your homepage. Click Check to confirm.
What verification unlocks
Full crawl quota based on your plan
Automated scheduled runs (daily, weekly, monthly)
Continuous monitoring and real-time alerts
Server bandwidth protection: unauthorized scans of your domain are blocked
Troubleshooting
If verification fails, double-check that the TXT record is exactly the value Jakka provided (no extra quotes or whitespace), the host is @ (not the full domain), and you have waited long enough for DNS to propagate. Some DNS providers cache for up to an hour.
